Following successes in 2015, 2017, 2019, the 4th Conference on Contemporary Issues in Banking
will take place during Monday 13 December 2021 and Tuesday 14 December 2021. Given the
continued concerns and uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, this year’s conference will be held
online. Papers are invited on Contemporary Issues in Banking that address topics that include (but are
not limited to):
- Banking and the COVID–19 pandemic
- Banks and the real economy
- Banks and the green economy
- Corporate culture and governance
- Competition and market power issues
- FinTech
- Liquidity and capital management
- Market discipline
- Regulation and supervision
- Risk measurement & management
