Publication Opportunities
Annals of Operations Research (ANOR)
The Annals of Operations Research (CABS: 3; 2023 Journal Impact factor: 4.4) will publish a special issue on “Operations Research and Artificial Intelligence for Banking & Finance”. The special issue will be guest-edited by Michalis Doumpos, Fotios Pasiouras, Menelaos Tasiou, and Constantin Zopounidis. Authors of selected high-quality papers presented at the 14th International Conference of FEBS will be invited to submit extended/revised versions of their papers, based on the comments that they will receive during the conference. However, attending the conference is not a prerequisite for submissions to the special issue and it will not influence the review and selection process. The special issue is open to all researchers in the area, and the standard journal policy will be followed in all the submissions. Papers will be subject to a strict review process under the supervision of the Guest Editors, and in line with the Journal’s guidelines. Authors should submit their manuscripts via the Journal’s online submission platform by 30 November 2025.
International Journal of Finance & Economics (IJFE)
The conference organizers, in liaison with the editors of the International Journal of Finance & Economics (CABS: 3; 2023 Clarivate Impact factor: 2.8) will invite the authors of selected high-quality papers presented at the conference to submit their manuscript to the journal. The submitted manuscripts must fall within the aims and scope of the IJFE. All the submissions will be subject to a review process, in accordance with the journal’s policy. Keith Pilbeam (Editor-in-Chief) and Panagiota Papadimitri (Associate Editor of the IJFE and member of the steering committee of the 14th international FEBS conference) will ensure that the selected papers (provided they are not desk rejected) undergo the reviewing process on a fast-track basis.
