Description:
The 4th annual Workshop for Women in Macroeconomics, Finance and Economic History will be held at the DIW Berlin, May 2-3, 2024, in the center of Berlin.
The aim is to bring together female academic researchers and practitioners to promote the exchange of ideas and experience in the fields of Macroeconomics, Finance, and Economic History. We invite contributions, including, but not limited to
- International finance and trade also with respect to the history of (de)globalization, and geo-economics,
- Public finance, inequality, and taxation,
- Green finance and macroeconomic implications of the green transition.
The conference will facilitate and support the formation of professional networks among female economists across academia and policy institutions. Each conference day will be opened with a
keynote lecture by an invited speaker followed by contributed papers and discussions. Additionally, invited speakers will share experiences and insights of pursuing a research career in economics.There is no registration or participation fee. Accommodation, lunch and dinner, and networking
events will be hosted by the DIW Berlin. Travel expenses will be partly covered.

deadline is February 19, 2024. Authors will be informed by March 19, 2024 about the application
status.
