The School of Business and Economics of the University of Chile, with the support of the Central Bank of Chile, is proud to organize the 2026 edition of the Santiago Finance Workshop (SFW). The workshop will take place in person on December 14–15, 2026, in Santiago, Chile. The University of Chile is one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America, and the workshop aims to bring together academics and policymakers from around the world to discuss new empirical and theoretical research on financial topics.
We are pleased to announce that the keynote speaker for the 2026 edition will be Professor Hanno Lustig, the Mizuho Financial Group Professor of Finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Research Associate at the NBER, and a former Associate Editor of the Journal of Finance and Econometrica.
