The University of Bonn and the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) TR 224 – EPoS, a cooperation of the University of Bonn and the University of Mannheim, are organizing a conference on the economics of digital assets, currencies and payment technologies on 19 December 2022. The event will be held in person at the University of Bonn.
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers to discuss the topics of digital assets, currencies and payment technologies, broadly defined. We welcome submissions of theoretical and empirical papers.

Papers should be submitted in PDF format to DigitalCurrencies@uni-bonn.de with the subject “Submission: Bonn Workshop on Digital Currencies”. The deadline for submission is 31 August 2022. The authors of accepted papers will be notified by mid-September. Each paper will be assigned to a discussant. Accommodation and limited financial support for travel will be available for academic presenters and discussants.
The organizing committee is composed of Maximilian Guennewig (University of Bonn), Janko Heineken (University of Bonn), Simon Mayer (HEC Paris) and Ernst-Ludwig von Thadden (University of Mannheim).
