Description:
The conference organizers invite submission of high-quality papers in the broadly defined area of “Information and Market Anomalies”. The topics of interest for this conference include, but are not limited to:
- Investor reactions to information in financial markets
- The influence of announcements or media releases on asset prices
- The role of investor behaviour (e.g., sentiment, attention) on performance
- Alternative techniques (e.g., machine learning, textual mining) to identify anomalies or the selection of factors
- Heterogeneous market participants and price efficiency
- Informed trading strategies to exploit market anomalies
We welcome papers that use theoretical, empirical, or experimental approaches to examine these and other related topics. All submissions will be evaluated based on their originality, significance, and relevance to the conference theme.
This will be a two half-day (lunch to lunch) in-person conference with a small number of papers on the program to provide ample time for discussions and create a stimulating environment. The conference will take place in the historic city of Bristol with its harbourside and abundance of social facilities.
