Description:
The First Chapel Hill–Copenhagen Conference on Macroeconomics and Deep Learning brings together researchers developing and using modern machine-learning tools to solve and estimate quantitative macroeconomic models. We welcome both methodological contributions and substantive applications in macroeconomics and macro-finance.
Join us for two exciting days of presentations, discussions, and collaboration on computational methods for quantitative macroeconomics.
Machine learning methods have contributed to recent progress in solving complex economic models that were previously intractable. We especially welcome submissions focused on deep learning for solution methods for macroeconomic and macro-finance models, including but not limited to heterogeneous agent models, dynamic programming, and structural estimation.
