The Research in Behavioral Finance Conference (RBFC) is a two-day conference that takes place once every two years. The event offers ample opportunity for discussion and interaction in a friendly atmosphere.

Confirmed keynote speakers: Lauren Cohen (Harvard Business School), Andrew Lo (MIT Sloan School of Management), and Elisabeth Kempf (Harvard Business School).

We invite paper submissions on all aspects of behavioral finance. This includes work that examines the financial behavior of individuals (in their role as consumers, investors, managers or advisors), the financial behavior of groups and organizations (in the public or private sector), the dynamics of markets, and work at the intersection of any of these areas. Submissions can be in the form of a full paper or an extended abstract.

Submission:

Full papers and extended abstracts can be submitted in PDF format until 31 May 2026 through the conference website https://www.rbfc.eu/paper-submissions. Notifications will be sent at the end of June. Submissions and presentations are restricted to one per person.
