Climate changes, ranging from extreme temperature to natural disasters, have become central issues and threaten modern society globally. The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow. Global leaders, climate experts, policymakers will come to Glasgow to tackle the climate crisis during the Summit. To take this opportunity, the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow, along with Chinese Economic Association (UK/Europe), is organizing its COP26 events, calling for papers related to ESG and Climate Finance theme to provide solutions and stimulate research on the relevant field. This conference aims to introduce cutting-edge research on ESG and climate finance, which serves as financial solutions for tackling climate change problems.
We welcome papers, both theoretical and empirical, including but not limit to the following topics:
• ESG investing, ESG integration and SRI
• ESG ratings and methodologies
• ESG disclosure and climate risk disclosure
• Climate change and corporations
• Climate risk, stress testing, and central banks
• Green bonds, green loans, and green equities
• Carbon market and carbon pricing
• Carbon footprints and climate risk exposure
• PE/VC roles in the energy transition

Selections of papers will be notified by the end of October.
British Accounting Review supports the conference and may invite a few conference papers for submission based on their quality and the fit to the scope of the journal. The submissions will be under regular review process. The British Accounting Review (BAR) is a well-established international journal that publishes original scholarly papers across the whole spectrum of accounting and finance (http://ees.elsevier.com/bar/).
