Description:

You are invited to submit papers to be considered for presentation at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the European Finance Association (EFA). The conference will be held on August 20–23, 2025 on the Paris campus of SKEMA Business School.

Special sessions:

EFA 2025 will offer five special sessions organized with institutional partners:

  • Bank for International Settlements (BIS) on Government debt and financial markets.
  • Banque de France (BdF) on Challenges from climate change and nature
  • European Central Bank (ECB) on Challenges for monetary policy transmission through banks and non-banks: the role of investors and new financial technologies.
  • Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) on Understanding the long-run drivers of asset prices.
  • SCOR Foundation on Extreme risk in financial markets.

The papers for these special sessions are chosen from the pool of papers submitted to the conference and undergo the same reviewing process.

Doctoral Tutorial:

The EFA Annual Meeting will host the Doctoral Tutorial on August 20, 2025.

Submission for this event runs separately and the application period is from February 15 to March 15, 2025.

Submission:

The submission deadline is February 1, 2025 (midnight Standard Pacific Time).

You can submit papers electronically via the EFA 2025 website.

For the paper to be considered, the submitting author must be a member of the European Finance Association in 2025.

Once submitted, you can update your paper up to the submission deadline. Members of the Program Committee will review papers. The authors will be notified about the outcome of the reviewing process by the end of April 2025.
