Following the success of the Shanghai-Edinburgh Green Finance Conferences in 2017, 2018 and 2019, Shanghai Institute of International Finance Centre (SIIFC) at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the University of Edinburgh Business School are organizing the 4th conference in Shanghai on 6 December 2020.
This event includes a high-profile forum which brings together key policy makers, top professionals and media in the morning and academic sessions in the afternoon. There is no registration fee for speakers. Presenters based in China may attend the conference in person and presenters subject to international travel restrictions could give virtual presentations.
The committee welcomes studies that provide cutting-edge insights into topics on the interplay between climate change and corporate finance, corporate social responsibility, capital markets, corporate governance, financial contracts, financial development, financial inclusion, and financial management as well as other related topics.

In consultation with the editors of the Journal of Corporate Finance, the conference organisers encourage conference papers to be submitted to the journal if they fit the scope. Conference papers submitted to the journal will go through regular reviewing process.
