Description:

This conference, known previously as the Swiss Winter Conference on Financial Intermediation or “Lenzerheide Conference,” brings together globally leading researchers to present their latest work on financial intermediation and related areas, covering both empirics and theory.
This year’s conference will feature:

  • Keynote speech by Manju Puri (Duke University, Fuqua School of Business & NBER) 
  • 12research paper presentations with discussions
  • Twosessions for short presentations and posters

The conference discusses advances in theoretical and empirical research on financial intermediation. Topics include but are not limited to banking, non-bank financial institutions, macro-finance, household finance, and fintech.  

We aim to attract leading researchers from academia and policy institutions as well as early career researchers in the field. The conference also features poster sessions and ample time for discussion and collaboration.

To submit a paper for presentation, please visit https://www.conftool.pro/swiss-fi-2025The deadline for submissions is midnight (GMT), Thursday 31 October 2024. Each individual may only submit one paper (although they can be a co-author on other submitted papers). Authors will be notified about the acceptance of papers by end-December, 2024. There is no conference fee and there are no accommodation costs for the invited presenters, discussants and chairs, but participants must cover their own travel costs. We encourage submissions from early-career researchers. Presenting PhD students and postdocs will be eligible for a travel grant to cover part of their costs.
