Entering its 7th year, the Workshop on Financial Institutions Research, hosted at the St. Louis Fed, formally invites the submission of high quality, early stage working papers that focus on financial intermediation, debt contracting, and banking. We particularly invite early-stage researchers in accounting, economics and finance to submit empirical research that may have policymaking applications. As in years past, speakers will receive feedback from both academic participants as well as senior bank examiners from the Federal Reserve System and state regulatory agencies.
