Description:
The Department of Finance at Bocconi University, together with the BAFFI Centre and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) invite submissions for the third annual Bocconi- CEPR Finance Workshop. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and policymakers in order to discuss topics related to all fields of finance. Each year, we alternate between Banking and Corporate Finance (BCF) and Asset Pricing (AP). This edition will focus on Corporate Finance and Financial Intermediation.
We welcome papers of the highest academic quality on current topics in corporate finance and financial intermediation including, but not limited to:
Corporate Finance:
- Agency conflicts
- Corporate governance
- Corporate taxation
- Default resolution
- Capital structure; Corporate investment
- ESG; Green Bonds
Financial Intermediation:
- Banking and monetary policy
- Regulation and bank supervision
- Risks from climate change; Fintech and digitalization
- Financial development and growth
- Non-bank financial intermediation (pension funds, insurers, PE, direct lending)
Submission:
Papers should be submitted by 15 January 2025, end of business day CET, via the CEPR portal. More information on the submission process can be found on the website. Authors will be notified by mid-February 2025.
