DIW Berlin and University of Hohenheim

The 3rd annual Workshop for Women in Macroeconomics, Finance and Economic History
is being organized by the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin; The conference will be held at DIW Berlin, May 3-4, 2023, in the center of
Berlin. The aim is to bring together female academic researchers and practitioners to promote
and exchange ideas in the fields of Macroeconomics, Finance, and Economic History.

The organizers are inviting contributions, including, but not limited to
• International trade and global finance
• Banking, financial stability, and regulation
• Monetary policy and macroeconomics
• Economic expectation, and experiences
The conference will facilitate and support the formation of professional networks among
female economists across academia and policy institutions. Each conference day will be
opened with an invited speaker followed by contributed papers and discussions. Addition-
ally, invited speakers will share experiences and insights of pursuing a career in the field
of Macroeconomics and Finance.

There is no registration or participation fee. Accommodation, lunch and dinner, and net-
working events will be hosted by DIW Berlin. Travel expenses will be partly covered.
