Description:
The 12th Workshop will take place on November 29, 2024. The workshop is
hosted at the National Bank of Belgium in Brussels. It starts at 9:00 and
concludes at 17:30, but we invite everyone to stick around for drinks,
food, and fun after the workshop. We provide lunch and there are no
registration costs, but we cannot cover travel or accommodation costs for
speakers and discussants.
The EFI Network aims at bringing together researchers with an interest in
empirical financial intermediation. We organise workshops with a limited
number of promising papers, during which we provide ample time for each
paper. We aim for a lively discussion and thus prioritise high quality
papers that can still benefit from feedback, invite dedicated discussants,
and leave lots of room for an engaging Q&A with the floor. We intend to
put together programs with a balanced mix of seniority, so we also
encourage submissions from assistant professors (or even job market
candidates).

To submit your paper, please send it to mail@efi-network.com before
midnight (GMT) on September 15, 2024.
When submitting, we ask you to indicate (i) which coauthor will present the
paper if accepted (to achieve a balanced seniority mix) and (ii) whether
you would be willing to act as discussant.
