European Financial Management Association (EFMA) was founded in 1991 by
Prof. John Doukas to encourage research and disseminate knowledge about
financial decision making in all areas of finance as it relates to European
corporations, financial institutions and capital markets. To achieve its
objective, the European Financial Management Association provides its
membership with a refereed journal, the European Financial Management, and
holds Annual Meetings at which members exchange ideas, present and discuss
their research.
The European Financial Management Association will hold its 32nd Annual
Meeting at the Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University, UK, June
28-July 1, 2023. Conference sessions will be held from Wednesday to
Saturday while the PhD Seminar will be held on Wednesday, June 28th.
In addition to the regular academic sessions, the program will include
panel discussions, tutorial lectures, and invited presentations. The goals
of these special sessions are to enhance the exchange of ideas between
academicians and practitioners, to provide a forum for discussion of
special topics and to offer educational opportunities for conference
participants. Submit your proposal for a special session by writing to the
Program Co-Chairs.
SUBMISSION: The deadline for submission is January 15, 2023. Papers will be
blind reviewed, and authors will be notified by March 4, 2023. Please
submit your paper electronically to the European Financial Management

AWARDS: The Association will present the EFMA-WRDS Conference Award
($3,000), GARP Risk Management Award ($2,500), EFMA Capital Markets Award
($1,500), LANG Corporate Award ($2,000) & PhD Student Award ($2,000).
