Following the success of the conferences in 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Shanghai Institute of International Finance Center (SIIFC) at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the University of Edinburgh Business School are organizing the 4th Shanghai Green Finance Conference on 31 May 2020. The objective is to present top quality theoretical and empirical academic research on green and climate finance.
There is no registration fee and hotel expenses of presenters will be covered.
The conference also includes a high-profile forum which brings together key policy makers, top professionals, media and academics.
The committee welcome studies that provide cutting-edge insights into current research work. Specific topics and research questions can include, but are not limited to the interplay between green finance and asset management, banking, fintech, entrepreneurship, economic growth, business ethics, capital markets, corporate governance, the carbon emissions reduction project, derivatives of energy and carbon markets, and other related topics on green and climate finance.
In consultation with the editors of the Journal of Corporate Finance, the conference organisers encourage conference papers to be submitted to the journal if they fit the scope of the JCF. Conference papers submitted to the JCF will go through the regular reviewing process.
