The 32nd Australasian Finance and Banking Conference (AFBC) is organised by the Institute of Global Finance and the School of Banking and Finance, UNSW Business School. The Conference will be held on 16–18 December 2019 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, Australia.

The AFBC is the most significant and prestigious finance conference in the Asia-Pacific region. It brings together the world’s foremost leaders of thought from the financial community, providing international academics and industry professionals with the opportunity to meet and share their research and interest in finance-related fields. The Conference Committee would like to invite all academics and practitioners to participate.

A range of prizes are available for papers that are selected for presentation at the conference.

PhD Forum
As part of the annual Australasian Finance and Banking Conference, UNSW will host a forum for advanced Finance Doctoral Students who are currently working on their dissertation.

Submit a Paper
Submission Deadline: Sunday 28 July 2019
More information to come on submission procedure. We are currently setting up a new platform to streamline the process and are very excited to announce this in the coming months.
Note that there is a limit of one paper presentation per author at the conference.

Registration
Registration is not open at this point in time. Please check back later in the year.

Please note: presenting authors must register by Friday 20 September 2019 to facilitate scheduling. Registration includes attendance at the conference dinner. Additional guest ticket to the conference dinner are AU$140 each.
